ROAD CLOSURE

The Park is temporarily closed to snowmobiling. Our gates at Togue Pond and Matagamon are closed. The Tote road has long stretches without snow cover, and in the remaining areas the snow cover is quickly thinning. We will reopen to snowmobiling if the snow cover is restored this month.

NOTICE OF TRAIL CLOSURE

All Katahdin and Traveler Ridge trails are closed at the trailheads until further notice due to wet conditions. Visitors should be prepared for wet conditions and blowdown trees on other trails throughout the Park. Park gates remain closed to vehicular traffic for the season.
