Cancellations 

Cancellations and partial cancellations requests must be received a minimum of 14 days prior to the scheduled camping date.  A $16 service fee will be applied.
Changes (cancellations or transfers) can only be made in person or by phone.
No refunds within the 14 day window–transfers only ($16 fee).

Transfers

Transfers must be made and used within the same camping season in which the original reservation was made.  Phone or in person only.
Reservations shall be accepted for up to seven (7) total nights for any one backcountry site and any one campground.  Two week (14 nights) maximum duration.

Davis Pond, one night only.
Wassataquoik Lake Island, two nights only.

Capacity

Site capacity is strictly enforced.  When considering capacity of facilities, each child is counted as one individual regardless of age.  Before adding people to your party, consult your camping reservation to make sure your site will hold additional people.


No Shows

Reservations for two or more nights will be held only until 4pm on the second day.

Groups > 12

Groups of 13 or more in a family or non-family situation shall be assigned to one of the group areas.

Organized Camp Groups

Organized Camp Groups of 5 or more individuals will be limited to one visit to Chimney Pond Campground during the two month period of July and August.

Season Pass for Non-Resident Entrance

Visitors who buy a season pass in advance of coming to the park must present the invoice of this purchase at one of the gates in order to receive their pass. The pass is a sticker that must be affixed to the vehicle entering the park.
