We have lost more snow in the Park since the last update. The Tote road, while passable all the way through the park on foot now, is bare in many places in the south. The Park Tote Road remains closed to snowmobiles due to thin snow cover and blowdowns. In the south end of the Park snow cover is particularly thin. We do not recommend skiing here, and pulling a sled is possible but not ideal (there are bare spots). Attention winter hikers and campers: there are trees down across many stretches of the Park’s roads- our staff are working to remove them, but expect some obstacles in the meantime.
