TRAIL AND ROADS STATUS
Starting Friday, June 6th, the Tote Road will be open through the Park. Be advised of soft shoulders and the need to use caution while driving on the Tote Road. All Traveler Mountain trails and all Katahdin trails, except the Saddle Slide trail will be open starting June 6th.
SPRING ROAD STATUS
Tote Road: open from Togue Pond Gatehouse to the Macmanus Brook gate, just north of Nesowadnehunk Field, and from Matagamon Gate open to Trout Brook Crossing (just past South Branch Pond Road). Roaring Brook and all other roads are open. CAUTION: road shoulders may still be soft in many areas.

Reminder: the state road to Togue Pond Gate is not maintained in the winter
Even once it is free of snow and ice, there is a high chance of getting flat tires due to snowmobile studs in the road.
Trail conditions: our trails are now wet and muddy, and visitors should expect to get wet
The Chimney Pond Trail has deep running water in places, and the Abol Stream Trail may be flooded.
