Tote Road: open from Togue Pond Gatehouse to the Macmanus Brook gate, just north of Nesowadnehunk Field, and from Matagamon Gate open to Trout Brook Crossing (just past South Branch Pond Road). Roaring Brook and all other roads are open. CAUTION: road shoulders may still be soft in many areas.
The SFMA 2025-2035 Forest Management Plan is open for public review and comment from March 18-March 31. Comments will be reviewed and addressed in April and May of 2025 before the plan is finalized. Even once it is free of snow and ice, there is a high chance of getting flat tires due to snowmobile studs in the road.
The Chimney Pond Trail has deep running water in places, and the Abol Stream Trail may be flooded.
