BSP’s annual Earth Day Litter Patrol on the state road from Millinocket to the Togue Pond Gate is Saturday, April 26, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Headquarters.

All Katahdin and Traveler trails are closed for the season.

Due to the anticipated winter storm, the Reservations Line and Park headquarters in Millinocket will be closed Thursday, 2/13.

In observance of President’s Day, the Reservations Line and Park Headquarters in Millinocket will be closed on Monday, 2/17.

Frigid conditions are expected in the Park throughout the week ahead (Monday, 1/20 – Thursday, 1/23), with below zero temperatures likely to be intensified by extreme wind chill. Be alert for the potential for hypothermia and other cold related injuries.

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Park Headquarters in Millinocket and Reservations Line will be closed on Monday, January 20th.

The Baxter State Park Headquarters in Millinocket and Reservations Line will be closed on Tuesday, 12/24, Wednesday, 12/25, and Wednesday, 1/01. Have a safe and happy holiday season!
